I know I am new here and found this place via a link from another site. I just wanted to share my experience with a BOSS Mustang and let others know I did my part by Calling Ford of Canada to express my genuine concerns as well as e-mailing this letter to Ford.
May you all enjoy your BOSS Mustangs everyday and not take for granted what you may not have tomorrow.

Well that's quite the story Joe,....
Mine has an amazing number of similarities.
Except the financing part,....... I actually paid for my Boss with Visa, and there's a story there too!
Wellcome to the Boss Owners Club,...

To update. Letters, emails and calls to Ford have resulted in nothing better than passing the buck and for the most part no response at all. Ford HQ needs to teach Ford Canada how to up their game to Ford's new world standard. Shame.

This is why you buy a Ford Mustang, because it means as much to Ford as it does to the owner. Listening, Ford of Canada?

You know guys; I'm not sweating the small stuff.
If I had one single request for Ford Canada, it would be to price the Canadian Ford vehicles more comparable to US priced vehicles. Hell man, the dollar is about par between the two countries, but a Boss 302 in Canada MSRP's $52,900 (+$6000 dealer mark-up). US price was about $43,900 and little or no dealer mark-up.
If you're going to box Ford Canada's ears, price equivalency is what I'd be lobbying to get fixed!
That’s my 2 cents worth, ... but your mileage may vary,...

Yes, the Certificate would be nice to have,.....
But I bought a Canadian car because I like to have a Canadian Speedometer, and like local dealer service, not for the certificate. The Boss was my third new Ford in the past year, and I actually got my Boss below MSRP.
I have been offered the Dealer's first 2013 Shelby GT 500 at MSRP and am interested, but waiting to see how the Canadian MSRP compares to the US MSRP. I'm thinking +$10,000 more,.... maybe +$15,000?
I don't like that, and may not buy at all because of that large price spread.
Cheers,
