I thought the bumpers already came with those holes? If that's not the case im gonna have to make sure they don't do that since fronts aren't required in Florida. Gotta keep the delaer sticker off too

congrats! It was destiny! What number is it? I have been kinda out of the loop as far as these cars. Are they doing a limited number of these?

Yeah good point - I'm curious what the production number is for one off the lot.

Bumper cover does not have holes but it does have two small dimple indentations where the factory plate bracket would mount. Not very noticeable though.

Again, thanks for the continued comments and compliments everyone!

More notes:

After doing a "side-by-side" comparison this afternoon, I found that indeed, the red key was the same as the silver. And I also used the word placebo to describe it to my coworkers (and the dealers... lol). But I let them know about the future update and asked that they keep on the lookout for that.

To the GI comment, thanks man, it is a great feeling! I am just 2 months back from 8 months in Baghdad, moved out of my place while I was deployed and collected all that housing pay, got aggressive on payments and with the exception of the truck that I traded in, was completely debt free coming back. Put me in a position where I could ****** up a deal like this when it came a-knockin'.

This BOSS is # 0213 for those that have asked.

Good deal. I just got back from Camp Taji in February also. Its just north of Baghdad. I flew down to VBC all the time. I did pretty much the same thing as you. 12 months of paying bills off.

Glad you're both home and enjoying new Toys.... I spent 4 years there, seeing most of the country but based out of Taji in 04 thu 06 and VBC 06 to 08.... Been here in the "stan" after taking a few months off (worked in the home office) to put some miles on the Shelby....

I hope my Boss will be waiting on me in May when I get there!

Thanks for the support, all! It's great to be back, and even sweeter to be driving this beast!!
Came out of a restaurant at lunch to find a younger kid taking cell phone shots of the BOSS, he had seen it from the highway and backtracked about 2-3 miles to come back and get the pics. I let him look around the car briefly, and as it turns out, he was already a member of the local forum I own, so that was cool to meet him. The car is certainly a celebrity in it's own right.
