Bosses with Power Adders....sound off!

I have a 12 LS....Very nice car and I really like it...and the fact that they didn't make many is a plus...
BUT I've always been one to step my cars up a bit...
CONSIDERING a power adder...supercharger or some kind of turbo setup.. NOT going to run the car extremely hard...just want a little more HP and "EYE APPEAL" at the local shows..
I really prefer to keep the Boss intake so that sorta limits me to centrifigal or turbo..
What do you have and was it worth the $$ and power gains..pics would be great..
Thanks for the ideas!
Don

I have a friend with a 2012 and a Vortech, I think. He is making crazy power on a relatively small amount of boost. Broke the tranny multiple times though and finally put a stronger 6 speed in it and stored the original MT 82.

Not a mega power adder here....like turbo's or blower....but I've just upgraded the breathing on my Boss. Airaid cai, FRPP 84.5mm TB, FRPP 47 lb injectors, O/R X pipe and some GT 500 axle backs. Will be converting over to E 85 once I get some data logging done. Then hopefully a dyno pull. Hoping for somewhere between 430-440 rwhp with all the mods and running E 85...all tuned by AED.....just a nice bump for the street and road course.

Very nice man.
How do you like the JLT Big Air carbon fiber cai? That's on "the list".

I did not do a baseline on the boss before installing the charger. I ran it on a base tune from VMP then dataloged and refined the tune via email with Justin Starky of VMP tuning. I still have not dynoed it yet but it should be good for an honest 600rwhp. The setup and tune is on the safe side at 10psi. The JLT 123mm intake is part of the whole system. No fuel pump upgrades but 47lbs injectors, dual 60mm throttle body, and HD dual fan intercooler.I have done suspension upgrades and a DSS aluminum driveline but am running the stock clutch for now. The thing is an animal. I didn't feel like these boss cars really needed TK with the factory 444hp but with this kind of power its a good thing.

I realize that this is secondary when you want HP...but how has the mileage changed?

I have never checked the milage before or after the charger. It should not affect it much. although this style of charger is powered by the crank its easily turned with two fingers sitting on the bench. The problem is if you have the power you are going to use it and when you use it the mileage drops.
