Boss Pics from HPDE at MSR in Cresson TX
I'm no photographer, but thought I'd share the pics of various Boss 302s that attended The Driver's Edge HPDE at Motor Sport Ranch in Cresson, TX. They definitely weren't all stock.
These first two are brand new to their owners who will be racing them. Because of my classroom/ontrack schedule I never got to talk to them so don't know what series they will be running. Not all of the stickers were on the cars yet. They were there working on setup.
This Laguna Seca belongs to a friend and is the car featured on the Hennessey web site. It carries Hennessey S/N 001, as it is their first 650 HP supercharged Boss 302. They recently took it out to Laguna Seca for 3 days of display and made runs on the track. They car still handles great. It really is a BAD BOY! Sorry but I didn't have my camera with me when he had the hood up. It is really a clean install and includes upgrades to the cooling system so that is not an issue.
This is a stock Boss 302 that ran in my run group. I didn't hear that he went off track, but if you look at the front spoiler it appears like he may have ventured off the asphalt at some point in time with the car.
The rest of my pics of Mustangs in attendance involve other models, so I'll stop here. There are always Mustangs at every DE event in all 4 run groups out there running with the Porsches, Corvettes, and GTRs which makes it a lot of fun.

The #466 302S pictured is Joe Johnson's car. You can see his name above the driver's window. The other 302S, I believe, is Wanye Manor's car. Neither of them are "as spec'd" by Ford, they've both already recieved numerous upgrades (at least that's what Wayne told me in Tulsa this summer). They should be racing in the NASA AI series. The fresh air intake on the #38 is one of those upgrades; note that the other car does not have one.
