What's the difference between these two splitters? I'm familiar with the M-16601-MB kit as seen on Boss 302 LS models, but I can't find any real info on the World Challenge Splitter Kit.

The WC splitter is smaller than the Laguna and conforms to the WC splitter rules:
2.5.2.1: Front Splitter: A front splitter may be added with an exposed top surface of not more than 4.0", that does not extend more than 2.0" past the approved bodywork as viewed from above for the entire profile of the front fascia. The splitter shall be mounted flat, +/- 3-degrees, in relationship to the official scales. The 4.0" exposed top surface of splitter will be measured from the point on the approved bodywork that sticks out the furthest in the area directly above any point on the splitter and defined by the top surface of the splitter and a point 1.0" vertically from the splitter top surface. Splitters in GTS shall not extend laterally any further than the widest point of the front facia. Additionally, the splitters may not extend more than 50.8mm (2.0")

That WC one might be the ticket; the price is bearable and the regulation-required protrusion might be ok for dual-purpose street + track use...

But does it include all the parts/hardward for installation? The 302S already has the spllitter supports installed on the car so they may not be included.

I called and the splitter is not available with no ETA. So no confirmation what's included in the kit. And just for Chris I asked about the seats and again no ETA. The guy on the phone said it could be another nine months but he really just didn't know. He also said he could have sold hundreds of the seats if they were available. BTW the seats work really well at holding you in place on the track.
Here's Paul Brown's Championship winning Boss 302S but not sure if that is the splitter for sale or not.

I know about the seats . They'd be perfect for my use (occassional ripping at the track), and I'm finally getting to test out the slicks from my GrandAm/WC hookups this weekend; just going to be fun sliding around in the 401A leather, haha.
On the splitter pic: I'll see your Paul Brown 302S picture and raise you two wheels

I think PB's stuff is from G-Stream (although FRPP may rebadge that and sell it as their own)

The FRPP splitters are definitely not G-Stream as G-Streams are CF and these are ABS.
The M-16601-S kit contains everything necessary to install the splitter on a 10-12 Mustang equipped with the GT/CS / Boss lower front fascia. Includes the supports, mounting hardware and bumper bracket and will be available very soon.

Thanks for the confirmation on both counts.
