A part of me says SOCAL...Ok I get it..maybe. I know a few locally have sold for MSRP....even believe a LS sold for sticker. This dealer is out of their mind.
I also let them on their FB page they are insane, but the market economy will show them the way.

Geez. These idiots mark up a dealer stock car that they already have by 15k and I can't get the one I ordered in November out of the plant 40 days after it was released. Nice.

You and your dealership are COMPLETELY insane! These are selling at MSRP. Why in the WORLD do you think someone would give you $15,000 extra? Greedy people. On the phone w/ the Ford region folks. This is outrageous.

Good point. The GT500 is a "limited production" vehicle too, but it now sells at invoice. Great looking car. We'll just have to let the free market do its work.

local dealer here doing the same
craigslist ad showed up today...I called them...they only want $15,995 over for a standard boss. not like it's $16k over...so it's hardly outrageous ;-)

I looked at a YB Boss (#288) today. Dealer Stock Order, wanted 5K over. No Sale. I'll just wait. They told me the whole collectible, hard to find, Japan parts shortage, Ford might not be able to fill late Q orders. Seesh! I hate this type of dealer. Another Stock order sitting there, and my order hasn't been scheduled yet. Sucks

The sad thing is some rich idiot that doesn't want to wait will buy it. The GT500s were getting something like 20K over sticker when they first came out around here.
