Boss Headers?
I'm thinking of getting headers for my 2012 Boss
If you have headers, which ones did you get?
what's your dyno chart look like?
HP?
TQ?
last year with SCT tune & CAI, my Boss was at 402rwhp
Will headers take me to 450rwhp? (nice round number)

I doubt 450 is achievable, round or otherwise. Did you get a baseline dyno run before the tune and CAI?

We run Kooks headers in our boss, the sound and performance gained from this was amazing and again, the sound, I can't even explain. We have a few of these in stock and with the holidays are offering some impressive sales. Let us know if we can help out!

Can you post or email me dyno charts with the Kooks headers?

JPC, the search function is your friend on the website. Performance gains have been discussed before.
Kendall at Cool/Tech ran several tests on Kooks headers on a Boss AND reported actual "data"(and I believe these results were with TK used but not sure) -
1.75" dia tubes w/H-Pipe and Cats w/Kooks mufflers- +15-20 hp gain across the Rpm band with peak +25 hp at 3500 Rpm.
Same long tube headers and H-Pipe without Cats- +35 hp (+40 ft-lbs) gain.
So even at +35 hp that represents a 7.8% gain....not massive but reasonable given the pretty good flow system Ford has given us OE on the Boss.
As to the TK question with headers, I doubt you can show up at the Ford dealer with the headers already installed and get them to download the TK program into your Boss ECM. Ford states there can be no mods to the engine before they install TK. Sure you could put the headers on after having TK loaded and the headers will probably give you more hp. TK was always billed by Ford Racing as horsepower neutral i.e. Ford never claimed TK would enable the engine to produce any more horsepower.

JPC,
Why would you think Ford would offer up any warranty coverage (moreso the engine but could be extended to the whole vehicle as well) if there has been obvious modifications made to the engine?
I would think it perfectly reasonable for Ford to deny any warranty to a modified vehicle. It is probably in the warranty fine print as well.
