Was that a private shipment? Talked to a couple folks here and we agree it looks like damage from a forklift. Not sure why they would do that. Hopefully I will be picking mine up soon, waiting game all around not being able to drop it off at the port in person.

That sucks, hope they ended up covering the damage, know it can be a pain. Picked up our 08 at the end of the day and didn't notice some minor scratches until after the wash, by then the shipping office was closed and went back the next day and they wouldn't do anything.

Hi, just wanted to let you guys know that I have had my YB Boss 302 registered last week. Its location is Düsseldorf, Germany, which is 25mls north of Cologne - in case you never heard of the place
I just spoke with a lady at Ford CR who advised me that the date for Trackey to become available has been fixed today. It will be in October, I was told. The exact date will be announced if you register at www.trackey.ford.com/trackey.
Andreas
BTW: At the Port of Bremerhaven, I also saw #0592 (YB as well) sitting in the lot. I wonder where it went.

Ron, love that commercial, though about it a few times already. Love being able to drive fast leagally, got the wife's 08 up to 145mph so far.
Andreas, any idea where you will be able to get the tune installed? Haven't had a chance to stop by the Ford dealer here yet, I was going to wait to get the car so I could explain it better. Might have to try and meet up somewhere and get the Bosses together! BTW, car looks great!

This is Peggy from Ford Dealership. You want TRACK KEY when?
Dont take it to heart, but there is alot of Boss owners that have heard this for 6 months or better. Welcome to the waiting list of Elite BOSS 302 owners. The only thing I can promise you, is that you will not have to wait as long as most of us have for the RED TRACK KEY.

I knew it wasn't a good sign when the dealership I got the car from had no idea why they couldn't do the tune. Poked at Ford on the post purchase survey for that. Just glad I got mine, the Military Exchange Car Sales had 4 vehicles allocated for all of Europe. After having to wait for shipping and everything I can wait for TracKey until Spring, lol.

Haha, saw this on the other thread, it could be altered to express how most of the military here feel about not being able to purchase one easily. All the salesmen here would talk about guys willing to buy one on the spot and not being able to help them. Guess I you really want one need to take it into your own hands and find one.

On the way to pick up 1409, can't wait to get her home. Interesting ride so far, one train delay took us a different route and cost us an hour, hopefully I can make that up on the drive home ; )

So after some train delays finally made it up to the port and got the car. Close to a 430 mile trip back home and it was a blast to drive. Car drives smooth even at 145mph, for a brief time. Pictures to come soon, seem to have misplaced the battery charger for the nice camera, one with my iPhone makes the car look red.
