Boss Gear calculator / Tire Fitment Simulator

Here's a screen shot of a gear calculator I came accross a while back.

I modded it for the Boss. The calculator is attached in the zip file below.

You will need Excell for this...........

Have fun.

Yes I know the car is limited to 155 MPH and is not capable of 200+ MPH............

Cool, thanks for sharing. I knew 6th was good enough to run Indy with.

Can you change it to an older Excel version? You have it saved under 2010 .xlsx

oh, and the tire data is not factory, just for those looking at the results.

Thanks,

Dave

Cool! Can you look at second gear? It's pulling the ratio, but not graphing the speed.

Here's a pretty simple internet based calculator.

What type of Calculator would I use for this issue:

I ran my Boss with 28" DR and had plenty of rpm left in 4th gear to finish the 1/4 mile. @114.5

Today I installed 26" DR and took it on (Closed Coarse) and ran it to the rev limiter to see if I can use them in the 1/4 without going into 5th.
I was able to reach 120 mph @7500 in 4th gear,
My question how do I find out what the actual speed my car was traveling? Speedometer said 120 But Im sure it was off because Stock tire size is 27 1/4
4th gear 1:32:1
Axel ratio 3:73
wheel size 26
rpm 7500
