I know but for those of us that need one, it looks like it was worth buying. I bought the Shelby cover for my GT500 and the cheap "generic" one for my wife's vert. It was worth the extra $50 or $100 for the Shelby cover. Not that big of a deal either way.
The tradeoff for living where we need a car cover is: 96% employment so most people carry their weight, which equates to NO INCOME TAX, and you welcome your neighbors instead of barring your windows from them

If the Boss cover isn't lined, I can walk across the street and order a 3 or 4 payer Evolution cover for ~150$. I'll use the money I save to make the car go faster, thanks.
From the Canadian Build and Price, it appears that the mats/cover combo is 800$ !!!!!! Seriously? Seriously!

Not really a dumb question. I'm not sure I can answer completely, but for me it's primarily a dust cover for indoor winter storage. I have used it at track events when left outside overnight so it was easier to clear than drying everything off the next morning for visibility reasons. The thing is if it gets rained on, I wouldn't let it sit for too long without pulling it and letting it dry off, as you'd probably have mildew issues etc.

Ok, thanks for the response. I was thinking I would probably drive the car to work once in a while as a "Friday car" or something, and I was wondering if it would would be appropriate/worth while to use the car cover to protect against the sun mostly. Does it have an SPF rating?
