Will be taking mine in on Monday, and thanks FordService for your thoughts, though am fully aware of the compressor cutout during hard acceleration. The odd thing I have noticed is it appears some vents are blowing colder than others on initial startup.

Hopefully just a small leak or something, but appreciate FordService coming on the Forum and offering suggestions/help.

Found my problem was with the blend door motor ( which opens things up for the heater and the A/C ) . It would click repeatedly whenever I started the car and I thought it was something in the Radio - specifically the CD player. Instead it was this issue and that was causing the A/C not to feel cold initially , as essentially the door for the system was not opening properly.
