Went to Cars and Coffee in Plano, Texas today and AER in North Dallas...had mine out and about and saw two prototypes and one LS in silver and red. Also saw one of those cool little RC Boss 302's:

Yes, and please try to get both the Tag number and the VIN for the cars you see. If you have the VIN's for the prototypes that would be super-bonus...

 

Many people get a bit upset if you take pics and post them with their plates showing.

I am not going to run around and take pics of vin numbers and post them to a web site without somebody giving me the okay.

 

Saving the best for last, I see!

 

Who brought the MP cars? Local dealer?

 

The guy in the red and black LS worked for Ford and I think he said all the other cars were being driven by a combo of dealership guys and corporate guys.

They had the two MP Boss cars, a new GT with the Boss front fascia and the Cobra/Boss rear one, and a MP GT500. All had Michigan "manny" plates.

The guys hooked me up with the color slick handout of the Grabber Blue LS that was sold at BJ, the color slick of the Comp Orange Boss for the Track Attack/Red Key, and the recycled paper slick of the "Boss is returning." Also got some trading cards of Mustangs from 64 to 99 (I think that was the cut off on them). Very cool of them!

Got to check out the mounting of the gauge pod too, I think I am going to get one for my Boss.

 

Those Ingot Silver Boss LS Mustangs are so BOSS ! ! I would love to have one.

I could see not giving vin# out but to me if you take your car to a show and it is a hot car people are going up take pics. Just like kids taking pics on a parking lot.

 

I went to a much smaller Car & Coffee in Knoxville this Saturday, and I had the only Boss there. The most common commit I heard was " That the first Boss I've seen."

I talk to a guy who was driving a 82 Ferrari that has a Boss on order. I wonder how many 2012 Boss owners are first time Ford buyers like myself?

 

I understand.

 

This will be my first Mustang but not my first Ford. The only other performance Ford I've owned was a 1991 SHO in all white. It was a fun car and pretty fast for it's time.
