Grabber green? Looks alot more like Medium Lime Metallic to me.

I am working on getting it together now. I am having to break it into three parts so that it is small enough to upload and still be decent quality. I am spending the time to do this in an effort to show my appreciation for this forum, and to the OP who made me aware of the show's airing. If it had not been for that, I would have known nothing about it. How depressing that would have been.

I will start a new thread under the 2012 Boss when I finally get the post processing done.

Just watched it again, IMO, the Grabber Green looks like the Yellow Blaze Tri Coat style of paint, and it looks beautiful. I'm gonna be very jealous of this color when I see one in person,,Might consider trading in my 12 for a 13!

I'd say get a '13 to go with your '12 or have the patience of Job and wait 12-16 more months

The green is VERY cool!

That green is gorgeous. I test drove a Grabber Green Boss 302 a few years back at one of those "Classic Car" ripoff dealerships. I've loved that color ever since.
However, the one in the SPEED show definitely looked like Medium Lime Metallic to me (with props to 94gt, above). I'm an impatient soul, so I can't wait until 2013 to get one.....

The only problem with trading it in is- it just becomes another used car to the dealer. The dealer doesn't care about limited production, etc. It really will be nothing more than a GT to the dealer. You'd probably be much better off selling it privately.

I had mentioned that, since that it what it looked like to me, I've always been partial to that color for some reason.......

This is quite a change from looking to get a 2012 Boss somehow to:
Trading in a 2012 for a 2013! Looks like Speed Channel created a new market for Ford! That is great to see all the folks comments! Great to hear all the news on colors. I am just very happy with what I have on order now and am very Thankfull!
After all it is that time!!!

I like hearing that they are really going after the M3. No mention of the Camaro, and that shows a lot. I really think the mindset of the engineering team couldn't be better right now.

Does anyone know how the sides of the quad exhaust open and the rears close and vice versa?

No, all four positions are open.

I thought I heard one of the engineers on the program mention there was an option opening the side pipes, I assumed the comment to imply track time as if it would not be street legal.

Side pipes have "perforated" (I think) disks at the flange joint near the crossover. Remove two bolts, drop out the disks and you have no flow restriction to the smaller side pipes. I'm trying to find out about installing electric dump valves in place of the disks. Anyone out there with info on where to get the valves and how to wire them up electrically?
Thanks

I know they were designed purposley to fit standard aftermarket dumps and electric dump valves with no cutting or sizing. Pretty much plug-&-play.

I'm guessing they're 2.5" diameter pipe going to the reducers, and if so, you'd need a simple cutout kit and wire it to the signal of your choice. You could have it to the constant +12VDC, which allows you to open them at any time, or you could have it tied into the ignition, which would function only when in ACC or ON.

I'm trying to find a set of cutouts that are a two-bolt design, but I'm not having any luck. Worst case, pull the disks out, then drive it opened up a bit more, like the sound tube mod on the 10+ cars.
