Ford of Canada elected NOT to participate in the Track Attack or the owners kit when the Boss was first produced in 2011. After public backlash on this, they finally decided to start shipping owners kits to Canadian Boss owners, thus the extra long delay.

Boss 302 owners kit
Hi Jason, I bought my Boss 302 January 3 2012, and still don't have my BOK. How can I speak to Deysha?
Thanks
Sebastien
Thanks
Sebastien
I bought my car last year on Thanksgiving, and just received my BOK last week....just over 8 months. I stayed in touch with Deysha (the ford customer service rep on this forum) about once a month, and she was able to keep tabs on it.
For some reason, mine didn't get built, so that was part of the delay. However even when it was built and "ready to ship", it still took about 2 months.
Be patient, but persistent.

OK...
So not too sure if this is the right forum but I shall post here first and if the mods want to delete or move it please feel free to do so.....
It looks like the BOSS Owners Kits are starting, ever so slowly, to be sent to Canadian buyers. BUT, we are still not eligible for the Track Attack. Even though some were lucky enough to attend early on. I have sent a request to the Track Attack people requesting a reason for this. Once I get the reply, depending on it's contents, I will be taking it to a corporate lawyer that I have known for many years.
Nowhere, in any advertising, did it say that Canadian purchases were not included. In fact, in my case, the dealership used it as a selling point with my wife. She didn't even know about it until the salesman mentioned it.
If, in fact, Canadian buyers are not eligible for the Track Attack, then I believe a class action lawsuit should be started. We paid for something that was advertised as part of the contract of purchasing these cars. Because we are Canadian, we have been discriminated against for no other reason than that of being Canadian. There is absolutely no reason that we, the Canadian buyers, should not be eligible. Especially considering the fact that this was never disclosed to us.

Its not the cost of the TA that is the issue. The fact that it was never made known to Canadian buyers is a breach of contract.
As for the price of the car, when I first started to look at buying it I had the dealer down to $45,960cdn. That was the same price that a dealership in Washington State was selling for. I contacted the American dealership and tried to haggle them down but they wouldn't budge. He said he knew that he would get what he was asking from someone. And sure enough, when I contacted him again the car was gone.
