I would say 6 at least. But the music she makes at high revs is sweet!

 

I've been skip shifting for as long as I can remember. 1-3-5 in my Cougar, did it without using the clutch in my '69 GTO. I wonder why I can't shift the newer trannies without clutching - they almost always clash no matter how well I match the RPMs? Of course the skip-shift forcing me to do it when I don't want to may indeed be annoying.

 

I am with you! I must be lead footed also! I have never seen it and I am at 1800 miles.

 

I'm at 1600

 

2100 and I've seen it twice. In town I shift 2nd-4th-6th to avoid the skip. Man that engine has some torque.

 

What's the best?

 

11,000 and maybe 4 or 5 times.
