Last six of VIN is: 200050, and plate number is 50......

LS has their own plate numeration, separate from the street Boss's numeration.

 

Looks great I would love to see the intake plate if you can post it, you can black out the VIN if you want, I would like to see how they are numbered more.

Right on Thanks, just what I wanted to see. A Boss is a Boss (IMHO) they should all have the same numbers in order.

Maybe the rumored 750 LS's and 3000 Boss 302's a year rumor is true.

Need some help I picked up my new 2012 Boss 302 Performance White /Black strip (8 miles) on 3/28/11. The VIN per the order was to be 200741 but came in as;
1ZVBP8CU5C5206355.

The number on the intake is 0228.

So where does this place the car in regard to Boss 302`s being delivered?
Why is there a discrepancy between the 200741 and the actual VIN#?
What info is out there on the track key?
I am a new bee to the posting thing so bare with me, all help would be great.

P.S. I have four stangs but I can tell this thing is a different bread!!! Hold on she is FAST.

 

On the VIN sounds like they just gave you the wrong info. I guess it is possible that they got more then one at your dealer and switched you car because they had another buyer but who knows. Your car is one of the first delivered if that is what you are asking, within the first two weeks and the intake number is just that number 228 produced.

I don't think it's a rumor. All the mags that were at LS in February pretty much all said the same thing.

 

That Back LS is sure one nice looking machine. Has it been sold already ?
