My Evos were very good quality-wise unlike my cousin's '11 WRX - 2 broken driver's seats (and he's not some huge guy) and other weird issues. I did have a rattling sunroof on my '10 but mechanically the Evo X is very stout with triple cone synchros on the lower gears, super tough engine, etc.

Oh and as for mileage, yeah they're terrible - 10 to 15mpg in normal driving for me, 20ish on freeway. Basically the same as a Boss.

And as for the comments that the Evos drive themselves, once you hold down the TC button for a few seconds everything but ABS gets turned off and trust me - you're doing the driving, not the car! The feedback through the wheels, seat, and pedals is unrivaled in that price range. Yes, I am an Evo fanboy! Now a Boss fanboy, too!

Boss 302 Vs Mitts Evo

Let's see Mustang Boss = Fast and Awesome Looking, sexy lines

Mitts Evo= Fast and ugly as hell. No curves and box like looking. Looks like a Ford Escort.

Yes the boss is better looking but you can't dismiss the semi-practical EVO (4 doors, AWD, decent sized trunk). Most people who buy a high end Mustang like a Boss or GT500 typically have a second vehicle. Something like an EVO/RalliArt or WRX/STI can have the sporty drive yet be a great daily driver with the exception of the fuel economy.

True but there very unattractive looking and not very nice lines. Same as the WRX, they maybe quick but ugly. One can make a turd fast but it still looks like a turd. Lol

The look is an acquired taste. Personally I think the WRX/STI in it's current form is the best looking of all the WRX models. I think the 2010-12 Mustang has a strange look in back but I'd be willing to accept the overall package for the right price.

My good friend and I. He's modded and always runs a bit faster than I. About 2 seconds ahead of me at buttonwillow and only .2 as of now at big willow

I guess I have not acquired a taste for it in all the years of there production but certainly beauty is in the eye of the beholder. No doubt, a Evo is a wicked fast car but you don't see that many out there. I can't remember the last time I saw one on the highway and I live near main Highways such as 95, Route 50 and Route 301. They may be fast but they can cost upwards of 40k and look like a Ford escort.

As far as the rear of the 11 plus stang I think its the best rear its had since the days of the old mach 1's.

I personally prefer the WRX because to me it feels more upscale, keep in mind the Mustang had rental car interiors until the 2010 refresh.

As for the 2010-12 rear, there is a reason Ford rushed to drastically changed it!

I've always wanted to go test drive the WRX and EVO back to back sometime.

You can't tell me the RS200 isn't sexy to you. Also with those road names mentioned I can't help think you live in the Crofton/Bowie area of MD.

Difference will be Torque!!!!
Going into the corners EVO might handle better due to AWD
coming out of corners....forget about it....

HPDE events, you can only pass on straightaways, again the Boss just will pull away OR have enough steam to pass the Evo

I wonder what Subaru and Mitsubishi have up their sleeve for the next Gen cars. Keep in mind both are pretty much old models that are at the end of the life cycle.

Add another 50hp to that Mitsubishi and it will be a new car!

Just because you can is probably what they were thinking. Plus both can still be found with pretty low miles I am sure if you look hard enough.
