Which Ford Racing Oil Filter to use ?

Thinking of having a oil change done to the 12 LS. It has 325 miles on it, but it may be the same oil from the build in Oct 2010.
I was thinking of going with the Ford Racing Filter, any feedback on this filter and which is the correct # for the 2012.

Thanks
Jason

The Boss 302 filter is the FL-500S I believe, I have since switched to the GT500 filter which is the FL-820S after reading a write up by SVTP, no leaks and no issues.

I have done a lot of research into this. The new oil filter correct for the new 5.0 engine is the FL500 and that is what Ford says to use on the Boss.

However - the oil cooler that the Boss has from the factory and is sold as a Ford Racing part for use on the 5.0 GT's - calls for the Ford Racing FL820S.

So technically the FL820S is the correct filter for the Boss. If you are not going to use the racing 820S I would use the FL500 over the regular FL820, since that is what the manual says and they can't argue a warranty claim with that filter on the car in case of trouble.

Installing an oil cooler this weekend on a GT and didn't consider this, so thanks for the heads up.
