Atkins Ford has 9 Boss mustangs..

Took a drive to look for a new DD (Focus) and stumbled upon 9 Boss mustangs at Akins Ford in Winder, GA
4 LS (3 black, 1 silver)
5 standard Boss mustangs (2 blue, 1 orange, 1 yellow, 1 red)
All come with a complimentary 10-20k ADM attached to them
If you look at their website the ADM's have actually come down 3-15k
http://www.akinsford.com/inventory/v...g/New/SortBy0/

They also have a GT500 with the SVT package that has a 10k ADM

Not sure if I want to buy a car from them but I will give them a shot to see what kind of numbers they come up with. The salesman did say they would come down further on the ADM's since they have so many Boss mustangs, thankfully I am not looking at buying a boss as I have my Roush. Not sure if anyone is willing to see what they'd offer but I figured I just throw this out there.

EDIT 9/14 New pictures

Yeah, that's the first dealer I've seen keep any specialty mustang outside. Maybe they thought they'd be sold before they got to the showroom?

How the hell can they have so many?
It really goes against the whole lottery and allotment that Ford said they would do with these cars.

It depends on sales. They must sell quite a few mustangs in a given year to have so many of them. Raleigh Ford in NC where a forum member works and was selling them for MSRP on here...I think they had like 13 or something like that allotted to them. At one time I believe it was said that they were up in the top 5 or something of Mustang sales for the US. So volume of sales plays a role in it as well. Not sure what the actual formula that Ford used though other than what was said in regards to 75% and 25%

I like how they quote the MSRP as including the ADM and then list a discount. Hilarious.

Wow, 9 and sitting outside?
I've noticed Cars.com now has about 200 Boss's. In July there were about 150 when I started looking for one.
Yep, inventory up. Smart dealers will move them. The not-so-smart will own '12 Boss's well into the future.

I would ask for the adm to be taken off...

"its been sitting out side and you want me to pay extra?"

Or, these guys have been paying over MSRP to other dealers, hence the outrageous ADMs. The dealer where I bought my BOSS got a 2nd one in identical to mine and they sold it within a week to another dealer for $1k over MSRP. I don't doubt it's fate is, so far, similar to these shown here.

They will sit. Poverty is at a 17 year high. 1 in 5 are out of work or under employed. The Mustang, if nothing else is a middle class car. With the middle class drying up the market for a 50k mustang just isn't there. Some will get their ADM, most will not.

Asking for an ADM, and getting it are two different things. Go in there and start writing a check and the sales mgr is going to have a hard time saying no. Anyone know what they're really making at MSRP?

Thanks. I think that'd be tough for a dealer to actually refuse. Especially with that much inventory.

I talked to one of the sales guys a few weeks ago about the prices. He said they are buying them from other dealers so they have to ask for a min of 10k over sticker. I told him Id buy right then if he could do it for sticker but said it was not possible.

A salesman said those exact words to me last night. He also told me the ADM was worth every penny and if he had the money he'd buy one. He also said those cars are meant to be bought and tucked away in someones garage. I just smiled and shuck my head.

I will be back there tonight, I'll snap a few pics of the mustangs inside.
