Anyone looking for a Boss?

I just thought maybe to post some information on Bosses on dealer lots that are not spoken for. If someone is looking they can get a hold of the dealer.

I got a call from this dealer that had my name when I was looking. They just got in a black LS and put it on the showroom floor. I don't know about any adm but he asked me and I told him no one was paying adms. He is his information.

Confirmed Q2 MSRP Boss available

I have recently relinquished a "Ford Zone manager Confirmed" Q2 build for MSRP. Its located in Southeast Michigan. I found exactly what I wanted coming off the aassembly line, uncommitted. If interested, PM me and I'll gladly provide the details.
Happy Hunting!

Seems like even thought we are way too much into these cars the market is still soft. I wonder how much this will effect the Shelby market, I know it is two different cars but it will have some effect. The guys at the dealer were asking me if I knew anyone that wanted an 11 Shelby for under MSRP yesterday, the car has been there a while along with a Roush. They sold two Bosses, a LS and mine but not the second quarter yet at MSRP. Lot of tire kicker but nothing yet.

Galpin is going to want $20K ADM on that car.

20k ADM, that's crazy. What is the highest ADM that had been paid so far, anyone know?

I have trolled through about 200 Ford dealer inventories from the dealerconnection.com website (before you flame, yes, I know it is not really accurate at any given point in time, to be sure you have to call...). I have seen a lot of dealers with Shelby's listed in stock. Even the really small dealers I've seen with very few F150's and other FoMoCo vehicles, I've seen at least 3 or 4 that the only Mustang they had listed in stock was a Shelby. Some of the larger dealerships even had 2 '11 Shelby's in stock.

So many of these were optioned up to high 50k, I can't imagine with the economy the way it is and so many folks laid off that '11 Shelby discounts are inevitable. The new 2012's are on the way, and you have to think dealers will be motivated to cut their losses and make a deal.

As I've mentioned before in other threads, a dealer near me in NH has a GT500 'vert at 60k, that was supposedly sold, then had a 5k ADM on it, and now is listed at 'just MSRP'. I will keep tabs on it and hope if/when it does sell I can find out what it went for. However the odds of a sales guy revealing how much of a beating they took just to move it seems mighty slim.

Two sold on eBay for 48,900 and 48,500, one more for 45,100. Many, many other did not even get bid to MSRP. I sure some will get markup's since there are still people that have more money then they need but it is still a buyers market, IMHO.

Dealers that are adding ADMs or even holding out for msrp on '11 GT500s are living in a fantasy land or the region they are in is filled with people that have more money than sense. They are out there for $5-6K below msrp if you are willing to do some leg work and drive a hard bargain.

Heck, I know its the hot thing right now, but I can't believe people are actually paying ADMs on Bosses in this economy. I wouldn't even pay msrp for one because I would bet anything that by the end of the year you'll see them going for under msrp.

I agree, the best sign is I've been to several dealers in so-cal with 5k & 10K mark-ups last week, and the cars are still there. Usually when a car is super high demand, people will pay a $5K mark-up. These cars should not be sitting on the showroom floors. Heck in most cases the car get sold before it even hits the showroom floor, like when the first Nissan GTR's came out. People actually paid $10K plus for them.

It will be telling once production starts rolling and the initial handful of cars aren't the only ones available. Speculators with deposits will start to decline their allocations and dealerships will start wanting to move them, I imagine.
