Anyone Going To Woodward Dream Cruise?
#21
Anything on Woodward is going to be nuts most of next week. We could do any meet in Birmingham or Royal Oak Wed. or Thurs. night. Friday night is the Mustang Alley dinner (for those of you signed up). That starts at 6.
I'm fine with the dealership, but it'll be closer to 7pm til I make it out that way.

Haha yes Paul, except I'm permanently back in Detroit now. Funnily enough I hooked up my external hard drive to the big flat screen yesterday and was admiring photo's from our Berkshire meets. I'm still sporting the MOCGB sticker in the front window.

I'm interested in the meet at Dean Sellers, I was going to go to the Mustang Alley Dinner but I think I'm going to pass on it.
For anyone else looking for things to do this upcoming weekend and week prior to the Dream Cruise and besides what's been discussed in this thread, here's a list of other events going on.
Bakers of Milford Sunday Cruise-In
Sunday, August 14, 2011
12:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Bakers of Milford
2025 S Milford Rd Milford, MI
MOCSEM will have special club parking at Baker's on this Sunday. They will caravan from the Holiday Inn (formerly Radisson) located on 6 Mile Road just east of I-275 in Livonia with departure at about Noon.
I go to the Bakers Cruise-In every Sunday as I live down the street and it's always good fun. Lots of very cool cars. I expect there will be a good turn out this weekend provided the weather behaves.

Anybody going to the Roush track day at Waterford on Friday?

I'll throw this out; anyone who's going to be around Sunday, 8/21 and wants to do a fun run in MI, I can set one up. It's a 112 mile round trip, and starts in Whitmore Lake (US23 and N. Territorial Rd.) and goes through the surrounding areas.
If we get enough interest, say 8-10 cars, I'd be more than happy to run it. We could do it in the morning (8-9am) and be done by lunch for those of you traveling home.
Any takers?

I'm registered for the alley as well as the Friday track event (see you there Steve!) I will also be volunteering for a couple hours during the mustang alley event.

Keep an eye out. I will probably try to coordinate one in October when the leaves start to turn, which usually ends up being an awesome drive. I know there are some pics floating around.

I was out tonight. Woodward is already crowded and it will only get more so. People in lawn chairs and cars collecting in lots mostly from 13 to 15 mile roads. Police were out in force as well.

Down on old Woodward there were quite a few Mustangs. Saw a Kona Blue one with some RTR bits on it, and a few other Brembo GTs along Woodward as I was heading home.
908ssp, where were you sitting? I was parked in front of Caribou for a little while, met with J1000 there as the RO ****** were kicking people out.

I never stopped just cruised down from Sq. Lk. to 12 mile and back. The car goes in Monday for paint I am supposed to have it back Thursday. If I do I'll try to make it down a couple more times.
