Only thing I have heard that's negative is increased noise from the diff, which I think might have been caused by the guy not correcting the pinion angle.

Google search "boss 302 aluminum drive shaft" . You will find lots of results, lethal performance extended their 10% off sale to 5/29. I ordered my DSS AL shaft this time last year for my 13 Boss. I think it's worth every cent. Great peace of mind knowing this part is bullet proof to 1000hp. The DSS shaft install was cake.

Diminishing returns on dollars spent. I swear this offering is only based the coolness factor saying "I have a carbon fiber drive shaft". Not meant as a dig on CF owners, if I had a fatter wallet I might have got one too... But for the average Joe who has to spend limited 'mod dollars' prudently, the AL shaft is the best bang for the buck.

Isn't the aluminum also pretty close to the weight of the CF shafts? Maybe different by 5-7 pounds?

My PST CF DS checks in at 18.6 lbs right before I bolted it in. The best mod so far. Car jumps and I drive with the Track Key almost exclusively. Driveline noise is completely gone and acceleration is much more effortless and smooth.

Did I need it? Hell no. But My Boss will never go anywhere so I give the best I can afford.

Precision Shaft Technologies. I measured per their instructions and they built it.
