Activating My Color on Boss?
I don't know that I'd even be interested since I've never seen My Color in action but I noticed on my Boss that when I open the driver's door after the car has been sitting the gauges quickly flash in multi-colors and then go to the standard Boss look. This makes me think that My Color functionality may be embedded but not enabled on the Boss.
Does anyone know anything about this?

I observed this as well. I'm sure the instrument cluster parts are identical across the line except for the gauge backing. But it lacks other lighting bits, like the in the cup holders and in the footwell. So they didn't put any effort into make the gauge lights adjustable. Unfortunately, it'd take a pretty hardcore ECU hacker to get them there,

Same here
Noticed this also, but as has been mentioned, the other bits aren't present, so the option to just tweak the dash colors isn't there. Dave Pericak stated that anything not adding to the performance of the car would not be on the car. We can thank the addition of HIDs and Sync to the decision to make those standard on the base V6.

According to the 2013 ordering guide (see attached) the BOSS has MyColor, the 2012 did not have it.
The instructions for selecting the colors and options are described in the 2013 owners manual under Information Displays. So I would assume you do have this option.

I know the '12 Boss did not have MyColor & did not think it was enabled on the 13's either. It was a neat gimmick that I had on my '06 GT, but after trying quite a few different colors, I always ran a blue hue of some sort anyway, just worked the best for me at night.
Like the 'Ice Blue' that is the basic color for the gauges.

The wires are there. The software is not apparently(I thought it was an embed thing, but it's not). You can get the Boss 302 Illuminated sill plates, which tell me the wires are in place. You get a voltage, but not a color. Choose the sill plates carefully padawan.
