Did you ask your dealer to check for available incentives when you closed the deal? From what I understand, you don't have to have the certificate in your possession, you just have to be in the computer.

My certificate arrived after the brochure.

 

Yep, two days before I closed the deal I asked about incentives, even financing at 1.9% for 3 yrs on Mustangs, but that was not available on the Boss either. Never received anything in the mail regarding a certificate. Nice LS 1FAFP90...

 

I received an email certificate today for $750.00, called my dealer, gave him info on it he looked it up in VINCET, #33502 + my customer #, said does not included GT or BOSS, dates on it are 3/30/11-5/29/11, called customer service and they confirmed, not good for GT or BOSS.

How does one find that program. I just filled out the form online at the Ford site for a new mustang and they sent me a brochure with a $750 discount certificate. There wasn't a choice of programs.

My accepted certificate was a cardboard trifold perforated mailer. The Hybrids, GT500 and a couple of others were mentioned as excluded in the fine print.

Weeks earlier I received the eMail one, but my dealer said not allowed.

 

Anybody else getting the certificate?

 

I totally agree. I got a $750 voucher that I could not use on my Boss. Why is Ford randomly doling out vouchers on cars that are, for the most part, sold before they arrive at dealerships? I could understand excluding the Boss entirely from any promotion or allowing the private cash across the board. What possible reason could there be for a coupon lottery?

This is a nitpicky thing that will bother me for a while. I'm very happy with my car, but seeing other Boss buyers get $750 from Ford that I could not get is irritating.

 

We may have clicked on different things on their website to trigger the discount.

I'm not thrilled when certain groups get nice discounts that I can't (first time buyers, teachers, gov't employees, people with moles on their left elbow, etc...) but unfortunately that's the way it is.

 

I received one. The only problem is that I have a Q2 build and the cert expires on 5/2.
