$750 Program Discount - for real
My Laguna Seca arrived at the dealer (more on that in another thread) today so I went down to pay for it, and a $750 off mailer I received was accepted!!! This mailer was trifold cardboard, and when you open the flaps there is a perforated card inside. The card mentions a few exclusions (GT500, Hybrids ...) but made no mention of the Boss. Dealer submitted it through the Ford computer, and I was given the $750 discount.
I believe I was sent the mailer because I had signed up at ford.com to get info on the 2012 Mustang, and said I would be buying in under 3 months.
This was for real.

That's great that discount worked for you. Beer for everyone! I've seen this before but didn't apply because I think my car will arrive after the expiration date. I'll wait to see if there is a new offer.

Sales Manager at my dealership shot me down on the private cash and sent this email:
Hi Alex,
Unfortunately, the BOSS Mustang is excluded from private offers like this one (see attached program details). Sorry to give this news, as these programs cost the dealership nothing, we enjoy being able to pass the savings along to our customers.

They qualify if the offer is available when the car arrives. If it is available when you order the car but expires before the car is delivered, it's no good.
AQHA is not applicable on the Boss (at least in my region)
The only offer showing in VINCENT on the Boss is a $750 offer, but it is a different program number than the OP listed (33526 vs 33524)

I want to make sure y'all get a chance at this offer. All I remember doing was signing up at ford.com, asking for snail mail info on the Mustang, and saying I intended to buy within 3 months.
