6000 KM Dyno Run

Finally ran the Dyno today with just under 6000 KM on the motor and my first maintenance scheduled for tomorrow. The motor is pretty consistent. The 3 4th gear runs pretty much traced each other identically. The numbers?

HP: 368.4
TQ: 315.6

Never done this before, was a little disappointed but Dyno guys seemed impressed. Next run will be with track key immediately after a full service.

Did the conversion. Right now 3650 miles exactly or 5871 kilometers.

What type of dyno? Mustang (eddy current), dynojet, or dynapack? Also wht not 5th gear which is 1:1? Mine was 366 on a Mustang dyno. Also just curious as dyno to dyno comparision matter little...just wondering though!

I wondered why 4th but I just did what I was told. It was a DynoJet. Should I go back and have it run in 5th?

5th is just more accurate in 5th. If they would redo in 5th at no charge...why not?

Accurate how? Higher reading? Lower? More consistent, I can't see since my 3 runs were almost perfect traces. It's a consistent motor that's for sure. I'm going to to to the shop owner, I'm sure he'll let me rerun. Thanks!

it takes leverage out of the question.. 5th it is motor driveline friction and tire.

5th should give you a bit higher reading, as it's going to take more of your engine's power to do the same work in 5th gear as it did in 4th.
