Question 5.0 Longtubes mating to Boss 302 Quad pipe?

My "ideal" exhaust setup for my 5.0 would be LT headers, the Boss 302 Quad pipe w/ electric cutouts, and Corsa/Borla/Magnaflow axlebacks. HOWEVER, the Boss 302 Quad pipe mates to the OEM catdown pipes so my Longtube selection would have to mate to the 302 Quad pipe and butt right up to it.

Has anybody done this or know what it would take to make this work without hacking up a bunch of crap???? I know the Longtubes would have to be true LONGTUBES......ie....ARH, SW, etc. but will these just bolt to the Quad pipe?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Check out Kooks. They make long tube headers for the Boss along with a Boss specific H-pipe with the cutouts for the side exhuast.

NO tune is needed for exhaust mods. The wideband-equipped Boss' adapt a/f's in real time.

Yes...but in his sig. he's also running a JLT CAI. I thought in that instance....a tune is required...or else there is a real and large risk of running lean. Because of the increased airflow on the intake side.
