That's definitely a very ingenious way to get a factory authorized, factory warrantied "performance chip" installed in the PCM. Very cool concept.
$300 for an additional performance calibration from a "handheld tuner" built into an ignition key seems well worth it in my book.

The way the first part of the official press release reads, it seems like the tune is loaded at the dealership into the alternate ECM area. It seems like it would be more efficient to just activate something already there.

$300 seems a bit too light to include a day at Miller Motorsports which is (as I understand it) included with the Trackey purchase.
