Just got a news alert via text from George that there will be at least one SBY '13 Boss looking to take the crown this year. I'm thinking we can guess whose this might be......it's a very low number

 

In for 2014, should have my car converted to 302S trim, a truck and trailer, and a two month paid vacation to burn at that time...

Oh we'll keep it going and growing Drew. I'm really excited about the possibility of getting a lot of the '13 guys out this year. Last year we were only about halfway through the '12 build so let's say there were 2000 Boss cars produced max. As of September this year there should be around 6000 current Bosses plus a whole lot more modded GTs with Track Pack that will come to the party. We also have additional sponsors ($$) so the event should be even more fun this year. For one they've added track time on Friday afternoon so we'll get three days on track.

 

I'm hearing there's a possibility of some 2013 GT500s joining the party. Now that would make for some fun!

 

I should seriously just start copy-pasting my replies to both forums

 

*update* It's no longer a possibility, it's been confirmed there will be AT LEAST one 2013 GT500 at this year's event

 

Good, I like beating up on GT500's on the road courses.

So far, looks like there will be at least a few Colorado Mustang owners passing up our final NASA event to attend this event.

Good to hear about more Coloradans planning to come over. I just got two days in Fri/Sat and barely cracked into the 1:39s I must be getting old.

 

this is only 3 hrs from me...and i have a buddy that lives 20 minutes from there...i just want to come watch and maybe a cruise will happen?

Chad we have 5 levels of participation from a car show to the full package including autox on the track, track school, open track time on the road course, night drag racing and timed road course competition. There's something for everyone and the best part is being with a whole bunch of Mustang owners having a great time for 3 days

The pricing structure is pretty reasonable as well.

 

Oh yea, it's a total bargain. Top that off with modest Midwest hotel and restaurant prices and it makes for a very affordable little vacation.
