Seems right, the difference in performance was defintely going towards the marginal side and the GT500 is the top dawg.
Its to bad that Ford wont be able to produce bigger gains in handling without resorting to something like GM using the Michelin Sport Cups on the vette since it would be nice to see what the 2nd gen Supercar tires would do on the Boss.

They wanted the title of "Baddest Mustang Ever Built" for themselves, who can blame them.

it's going to be on heck of a car. and you've got to think they've been 'sweating it' since the boss hit the road. when I looked at the '12 gt500 I was impressed, but not blown away...sure, it's got the power and looks, but the fact that the boss was coming and that the boss team had really focused on making it a great driver's car...I was swayed to get the boss. (even though, growing up, the Shelby's were the cars that really got my attention...no the bosses). I determined that the boss was the best mustang going...and I've been so impressed / satisfied with it. Now that the gt500 looks like it'll be picking up some of the tricks from the boss - as well as adding those huge brakes and the damptronic dampers (of which I'm a big fan...I really like the PASM implementation in the porsches)...I'm thinking that the 13 gt500 is going to be a winner. I saw a quote somewhere that was something like: "god would drive a gt500 on the street and a boss at the track"...now I think that's probably going to be 'gospel.' I'm hoping to be able to pull that off.
I want those taillights and the quad exhaust actually looks good on there.
