That's my guess. '10 debuted there, and given the dates for the '13 orders, it makes sense.

 

Does the 2013 Boss get the same front end treatment as the GT?

 

I hope not... I do not like the Shelby nose at all!

Yes. They stated that it would be unveiled there. We were only shown pictures of a few key elements of the new GT500 but no full pics and one was not in the show, but they did reveal some engine info which did not include hp figures, but I would guess at the top end of what has been speculated. (holy run-on Batman)




Hard to say for sure, but IMO it's been tweaked further from the appearance of that photo. IMO the finished product is awesome.

And yet you didn't think of your friends here at TMS? Would it really have been too much bother to take a few photos? I'm sure you could have outrun Security and it'd be worth living as an outlaw for a few years.....you would have done if you really loved us. Pah!

Looking at the camo-ed test mule front end, could the new model look like this? Too bad the customizer couldn't include a 1970 Boss stripe kit so we could have some fun predicting next year's model. Anyone have any photoshops of what this could look like using the '70 theme?

 

did you like the new front compared to the current GT/boss? did the new one seem more or less aggressive? use of LED strips?

...I saw a 2013 mustang including a boss, but not a gt500, and the new escape and fusion. last year i confirmed the boss and my post went up on every auto news site i could find. i work for a ford dealership. this week is the ford dealer intro show where each wave goes for a two day event by region. yes, the rear lost a lot of plastic and is blacked out with outlined LED taillights. the fascia is different but the boss they were all facing outwards so i didn't get a good look at the actual bumper cover, just the taillights when they drove off stage. no driveline changes except to gt500 that they mentioned. boss still has 444 hp. front and center on stage was a laguna seca in school bus yellow, even heard the story about how they got the color in 1970. im sure a lot of people wont like the new front end, but most should. i think it is sexy as hell. it is still just a freshen though..."

I will be having DEEP thoughts on the 2013 500, I just hope they didn't screw up the looks.

I'm not exactly a fan myself. I assumed it was designed that way to reduce hood lift at speed.
