Would you rather not received the cancellation notice, and then end up taking the risk getting caught in impending rain right after getting Ms. Scarlett all shined up? Personally, I'd be thankful, as not all car shows cancel nor reschedule their events due to impending rain lol.

Oh absolutely it was just the first show of the year. I'd rather keep her clean and safe.
They rescheduled it as Cars and Coffee event because of a large donut order. DD can show up or bring your scheduled car.

Nothing pisses me off more than my car getting all dirty right after shining her all up, due to a rain downpour either on route to or from a car show/car cruise event.. IMHO these car events should all be rescheduled whenever there's a 40% chance of rain and above.. However, there are quite a few car show/cruise events around here that don't because certain vendors are unable to reschedule due to prior commitments scheduled in advance for upcoming events..
The Vintage Grand Prix is just one example, which always has their annual car show scheduled for both rain or shine
