Was that Kings Ford by chance ?! I have mine ordered through Beechmont Ford.

I'm "Gearhead" on Stangbangerz by the way. Just saw you join over there...

My first impressions of this car is that Ford has really made a niche market vehicle, with my demographics being the niche. Enough of the "climate controlled, leather and electronics cocoons" this is a car that stirs your soul and guts. It has almost manual everything (windows being the exception) which is a big plus in my book.

I got a pure street Boss, with the standard seats and regular LSD. It seems to be perfectly suited for what I want - a car capable of being both a daily driver and a weekend athlete.
Update time.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! A rally is a great way to cover those break-in miles. Special thanks to Evil Capri and his '04 Mach 1, whom I ran with.

So I do owe everyone an update on the Boss's characteristics. We did a 90 mile rally yesterday, twisty two lanes with lots of off camber, elevation changing curves, and 39 degree weather (not the best for summer tires). I had a "chaperone" in that Evil Capri was in the lead in his '04 Mach 1, setting the pace.

First impression: The Boss is very neutral and stable in the handling department. Oversteer is just a throttle blip away, but I experienced no understeer whatsoever at the speeds we were driving (fast but not crazy fast, say up to 6 to 7 tenths). I have the standard seats, and am of "average" American size (5'11" and about 215 Lbs.) and the seats were comfortable and provided sufficient thigh and lateral support. I will buy a CG Lock for the future though.
Power is awesome - when you want to the Boss can be driven like a pussycat, but you can unleash the tiger at any time. I kept the suspension on 2, and had a full car, as my family accompanied me on the rally.
This thing really turns heads, so be prepared to talk with just about everyone. There was a Nissan GTR on the rally, but the Boss had more admirers at the pre-rally stage.
Ford has really made a great vehicle and at an affordable price too, considering the Boss 302's performance capabilities. Its an M3 hunter available for 65% of the cost of an M3.

Yep, Kings Ford is the dealership. They've treated me great so far.

No need for thanks! It was a great day/rally! We'll have to take some "drives" this summer, perhaps before 'Cars & Coffee' on some Saturday!

A little FYI for you all, since DFV contact me by PM.

The car you see there is "my car" (i.e., I had ordered this car and had a deposit down on it)

I had my '01 Bullitt up for sale since last September, thinking it would be the down payment for the car. No one bit, based on where it was advertised. I expanded the advertising through December and into last month.

It was an interesting twist of fate when I told my salesperson at Kings Ford that my Bullitt had not sold and he shot back that there was another salesperson who had a 4th quarter order for the EXACT SAME CAR by someone else.

I got my deposit back, decided to take the Bullitt off the market while I made some changes, and then the order DFV had for the 4th quarter was swapped with mine.

I didn't get to see the car on the day of delivery, however, I do thank DFV for contacting me here to let me know he got the vehicle.

Another irony of this is that when I bought my '03 Mach 1 back in 2002, the same thing happened. I looked at the first Mach 1 at Kings Ford which eventually got bought by someone else. I later met the owner and mentioned to him that he had "my car" I bought the second one that came in.

Someone contacted me today about buying the Bullitt now, so who knows - I might be the 4th quarter guy (or more likely a 2013 guy because I like the rumored grabber blue Boss).

The world is sometimes quite small. Enjoy, DFV!
