#366 is home! Wow, What a machine! . The car is totally awesome! I can see its Track perfromance come alive briefly on the highway. From 50 mph to 80 mph is just a tap on the accelerator!
Honest!! when I left the dealer I looked at the clock ( I had a long drive ahead of me) and it was what time? Of course, 3:02. I couldn't get my camera out fast enough before it changed.

Driving impressions:
Power is smooth; acceleration in 3rd and 4th gear is really impressive. As noted elsewhere, shifting from 1st to 2nd when cold is scratchy and not smooth at all, but when it warms up seems to be fine. There is more body roll than I expected but holds tight turns very well. Under steer is much improved over previous models. Sport mode on the stability control is a good compromise; it takes over at the last second. I'm a long way off from turning it off completely.
Changing the settings on the rear shocks is a real pain in the A _ _! I can't see what I'm doing.
The Muscle car sound is great. At 500 miles the in-cabin Drone at 3000 rpm is more than I expected and I still have the exhaust restrictor plates in.
The Short throw shifter is great, short and tight; I don't see an upgrade needed. The rear sets pretty firm in hard cornering, I'm not used to all the power, I hit the gas a little early coming out of hard corners and got 180 pretty quick. As I got used to it, it can be controlled, just have to squeeze the gas a little smoother and a little later coming out of the corner. I'm used to a low HP car and you hit the gas to the floor early coming out of a corner, NOT on this Puppy!
Comfort: The Recaro's are Great. My right elbow opened the center console storage bin several times, while cursing which was kind of irritating. No issue with both hands on the wheel!
All and all, I had high expectations and it exceeded most of them. I love the car! It is everything a Mustang should be!

Congrats! Nice Pix, I added them to my images fold that cycles through my background images. We need more 'driver's impressions' feedback. Is there another thread for this?
