Congrats. These are the best photos of any Mustang in YB that I have seen to date.

Maybe Mark will be 8, if he ever gets it. I would like to start a thread with only build numbers.

No, same color, got this off of boss302.com. This one needs more work in the body but has more original stuff on it. It's all good, I love the old projects and working on a Boss is a pleasure for me.

Been a long day, so I am off now. Tomorrow may go by fast (I hope) want to sleep in the garage but the floor is too hard Guess I will need to find a way to park the car inside the house some day

That's more what I meant, that the valance when bolted to the bumper is still higher than a stock GT bumper, to accomodate the splitter without sacrificing height.

Congrats on your car! I really like all the pics you posted. Has anyone else heard anything about the factory closing though?

I've heard the same story second-hand on a number of forums. I too would like to hear someone from Ford verify its truth.

I have it on pretty good authority a Mustang line shutdown is NOT imminent or forseen due to vendor products from Japan.

2012YellowBoss - Very nice writeup and photo documentation at the dealership pickup!

Thanks for the photos! I wonder if this is the FIRST Yellow Blaze in the 2012 run. If so, that would be cool!!

By the way, did you actually try the radio at this point?

Crap, I meant to do that today. I swear on my Boss I have not even turned it on yet.

Just got back from a field trip to the Everglades. Forget everything I said yesterday

I was wrong

For starters I did not drive it, even though it felt like it. Today I drove it. The MPG thing was wrong I reset it and it is giving me about 14.1 now. I finally got the heart pounding feeling, first time was pulling out on 95, no cars coming, jumped on it around a car in front on the entrance ramp and a couple of seconds later I looked down at 120. Got it to about 130 later but that is all for me on public roads. Up to 70 it feels like you are doing 20 on the side road in front of your house. I know that have been over said/used but with the Boss it is true.

Not until above 80 do you start to feel like you are moving at all. The car makes so much power above 5500 RPM's it makes it feel like lower revs have no power. It is not until you pass a car do you realize the power really is there, you zip around another car and are way out front of it on a country road before before you know it and that is at 3000-4000 RPM's.

The sound is great like I said yesterday, not too much or little. From almost nothing sitting at a light to not being able to talk to someone next to you in a normal tone at 6500 plus. I really would not change it as I think it would make it annoying at speed. If you want everyone to look at you at a light you can just sit there and rev it in neutral, not my thing and besides everyone is looking at it anyway.

Above 7000 RPM's and it starts to sound like it has a blower on it, you can hear it whine just a bit even with the discs out. God I really wish they had a shaker hood on the Boss. Another problem I have found with the car is the shifter, above 110 or 6500 your palms get sweaty and it is hard to hold onto the shifter

Fantastic pictures and a fantastic review! Thank you. You just keep making the wait for my 2nd quarter car that much more agonizing! (but in a good way at least!) Enjoy. I'm sure that won't be a problem from the sound of it though
