I think it is deplorable that a $1500 seat option doesn't come with the same features as the seat it replaces, especially when you remove the covers and foam it is the same seat frame. If heated seats are a must you can get kits for about $100 and install them yourself.

FWIW, the company Recarro doesn't make automotive seats anymore. They sold that division to Johnson Controls along with the rights to use the name. Johnson Controls makes all the seats for Ford.

To the OP it is a tuff lesson to learn but you can't assume anything when you make an automotive purchase. I spent a 1/2 hour going over my car making sure there was no damage, all the features that were supposed to be there were and that they worked before I signed the paperwork.

Yeah I'll order a kit and do it myself. It's there a how-to for taking off the leather covers and where to wire the power? I'm getting conflicting info (connector it's there for both heat and power, connector it's there only for the power seats and not heat, seats can stay in, seats need to come out). I searched around and didn't find what I needed.

I feel your pain. I am going through the same thing with my Beamer. The vin says heated heats but they are not installed. I’m trying to figure out how to go about this matter. And no, this matter is not frivolous at all. I work hard for my **** money. P
