Wimbledon White vs. Oxford White
WW is my favorite. If it had been offered on the 2014, I would have sold my soul to find one.
It was Ford's standard white in the 60's, going back from at least '64 into the 70's. It's the color that was seen most often in the early magazine ads for the Mustang, usually with a red interior. The 65 GT350 was only available in WW. Maybe that's why I love the color so much.
OW/PW are nice, but don't have the pop that WW does.
I was surprised that Ford only offered just 2 colors for the LE. Red should have been a choice too...Red/White/Blue like the TriBar emblem.

Those stock seats look quite decently bolstered, hardly the flat benches of past Mustangs. Might make the Recaros a slightly less necessary choice for the performance driver.
I usually dislike anniversary editions so I didn't even bother reading about this until I found out what it was. Wimbledon white is the color I fantasize about painting my GT. So glad they chose to bring it out, just wish you didn't have to order the 50th anniversary to get it although I understand why.

Just like the original Matchbox Mustang! Wimbledon White/Red interior. There was a warmth to it. Modern White is what I call "refrigerator white".
It was called
Polar White for Mercury.
