I believe it's the same for any Coyote from 2011 through 2014.
Yup, just double checked the order guides. I need to stop going by memory because I always end up being wrong.

The current issue of the 5.0 Mustang magazine does a very good job of laying out a lot of information about the 2015 Mustang. Better than any other magazine.

I happened to notice that the 3.73 rear was NOT listed as an option and was NOT a part of the Performance Pack for the GT.

Does anyone have any more up to date information concerning the availability of the 3.73 rear with the 2015 GT?

How do those gear ratios in the manual and automatic compare to the outgoing model?

Yep, sad but true. Just for fun i went on the Ford, Build you a Mustang web site. I built a 2014 GT automatic, only gear ratio offered with an automatic were the 3.15's

The first thing I be doing on a 2015 automatic would be taking out those 3:15 gears and installing 3:73 gears.

Cool

I suspect Ford will save the 3.73 gear option for the GT350 and other higher performance editions.

I have 3.73's in my 2011 and i rarely use 1st gear for normal street driving. I have to modulate the hell out of the gas not to roast them off. Obviously there is no real way to know right now, but I wonder if 3.73's will actually be significantly faster in the 1/4 mile. There are a lot of factors at play here. Will the 3.73's require an extra shift? Also how exactly will it affect high speed cruising and mpg?

The neat thing is that sooner or later, someone on this board will have this specific informantion.

There was a thread about the shift points for draggin somewhere around here. I think woth 4.10's youd be shifting about 200 or so feet before the finish while 3.73's will have you crossing right at the top of 5th gear IIRC

my bone stock 13 gt with track pack/3.73s was bouncing off the rev limiter in 4th gear just as I crossed the 1/4 when I took it to the strip (lapeer). really would kill for the extra 500 rpms from the boss :/

it was the first time I had ever been to the strip and I ran a 12.90 (from what I gathered, that track is not prepped well at all). had wheelspin well into 2nd and almost 3rd

I also never use 1st in daily driving, its basically worthless. always start in 2nd
