Will the 3.73 rear be available on a 2015 GT V-8?

An introductory video on the 2015 GT said that the 3.55 rear would be an option. Is it the only option? Is a 3.73 rear still an option?

I really hope they continue to offer different gearing for these cars.

I think that there will be gear ratio options, at least for the American market.

Autoweek reports 3.55's with performance pack. Better wait till you hear it from the horses mouth. (rmurer post)

Until the order guide is out, we won't know for certain. Let's just chill until they release the facts.

Question

Looks like it's available.

Op's question wasn't so far out in left field, after all, aren't we all wondering about every Nut & Bolt on the S550, maybe that info is known by someone?

Looks like no 3:73 option for 2015. Only 3:55. Wow!

Reading is fundamental. I believe his image is from Ford directly.

I think he meant without the Performance Package. Why does everyone have to be a di*k?

LOL! I thought that's what he meant, too... but this is not from Ford. It very well could be accurate and that is how things will be packaged. We shall see soon enough...

Another thing I noticed is that the article is showing the Performance Package being offered to both manual and automatic 2.3l Ecoboost's as an option, but the Performance Package being offered only on the manual transmission Coyote as an option...

Could one order 3.73 gears in an auto Coyote in the current models?

I believe 3.55 was the max for autos, 3.73 for manuals IIRC.

I could be wrong, but according to Ford's site it states 3.55 and 3.73 options for manual, only... 3.15 is standard on auto and 3.31 is standard on manual. It looks like 3.31 could be had on the auto, but it's not clear.

For the 2012 like mine, in an auto you had the choice of 3.15 or... 3.15. That's it.
I believe it's the same for any Coyote from 2011 through 2014.
