Man, it looks tight in there! I'd really be surprised to see the big 5.8 or an Ecoboost twin turbo V8 in there. If Ford does any kind of forced induction on the V8 its most likely going to be a supercharger due to what looks like space issues and the attendant heat problems.

also there are two braces on the yellow GT PPcar, its hard to see requires a big monitor and brightness and contrast turned up a bit

Speaking of old school, those strut tower braces look a helluva lot like the ones on my '70 Mach 1. On the old cars the OEM braces were individual pieces that tied the shock towers into the firewall. They were bolted in place on both ends and therefore removable for access to the valve covers, etc. An upgrade was a one-piece brace that was more of a V shape and was known as an export brace.

That's what people love calling anything turbo from Ford these days, and some people definitely are in love with the idea of a Ecoboost SVT car sporting little green Ecoboost badges.
Anyways I stand by my observation, I don't see a twin turbo V8 happening with the current V8 in this chassis.
Maybe chop some stroke, yank some bore and pull the deck down a fair bit along with shrinking the cylinder heads for a more compact V8 and it might happen.
