Tire size info.

I just purchased a set of 19x9" wheels and need to know what size tire I can run on front of my 15 GT premium , can someone help in this matter.

275/35-19s should be real nice for all 'round setup. Most kits for this size wheel use this size of tire.

You could also do staggered at 285/35 in the back, and 255/40 in the front, but be aware that rotation is definitely not happening, and the handling will be different.

Yep want to be able to rotate will go same on all four corners , but I do like the look of the staggered wheels. Thanks for the info.

Just keep in mind that a 275/35-19 has a diameter that is .5" smaller while a 275/40-19 has a diameter .6" larger than the stock diamter. Personally I would go with the 40 series to fill up the wheel well more.

I appreciate the info. Now I need to find out what size would fit 19x9" wheels without running issues.

Aren't there 19 inch options from the factory? Why not just go with that size?

There are 17, 18, 19 and 20" wheel options on the S550 Mustang. All have tire size that gives you a 27.1" overall diameter with the exception of the GT Performance Package rear tire which is slightly larger in diameter. The two 19" sizes are 255/40-19 and 275/40-19 (rear of GT PP).

Then I would go with all 275/40-19s and be done with it. They'll rotate and be correct diameter. Sure, you don't have the staggered handling/look, but if rotation is a thing (which it is with me) then that's what I'd be doin'.

Can't be havin' no 255s in the back on those rims, c'mon, maaan...

Unless your car came with 275/40-19's the speedo is going to be off a little (you will be going faster than it reads). Plus a 9" wide rim is the minimum rim width for a 275/40 tire. A 255/40 fits perfect on a 9" wide rim and will be the same diameter as the stock tires.

Oh yeah, well, there's that. My bad. Sorry about the speedo thing. I always forget that...
