Seen in person - All doubts dispelled
I think I got lucky because I heard about the Ice Wax very soon after I got the Boss. It's never had any other product applied to it.
I use Turtle Wax Ice Wax. The stuff is fantastic. You can use it all over your car, paint, rubber, chrome, black plastic, windows, even the matte finish Boss spoiler and stripes. So far, I've given the Boss a complete coating of Ice Wax once per year and at the end of the year, water still beads off it as if the wax were freshly applied. When I wash it, the tail lights only require a light touch with the wash mitt because most of the dirt washes off with the first rinse of the hose because of the wax. A light dab with the chamois to dry it off and it's perfect every time.

I wish i could get a 2015, id make it look assembly line new and keep it that way. Those curves are just
At least someone has my back. Lol. I really do want to love the new 2015. I'm just not feeling the love or like for it but I really want to love it. As far as sales numbers, maybe a little sarcasm but for all the hype Ford put on this vehicle , it should sell more units than 2014's.
Ha ha ha. Well, I have thick skin so its all good.

To answer your question, I have not a clue on my 2011 being a cheap copy of the 1st generation models if designed with a full sloping rear. If my 2011 had the same exact slopping rear that the 2015 has, then my mustang wouldn't be my mustang. I would of never bought it but considering the 2011 model was and is a modern RETRO version, a somewhat slopping rear would of made more sense. It makes more sense to me on a retro model to have a sloping rear but not on a all new, moving forward mustang generation. Even wanting to give the 2015 a sloping rear, I'm surprised a better design wasn't come up with along with modern looking taillights. I think the slopped rear in the first generation mustangs totally worked because it flowed as a whole complete design and worked back then. I'm sure I'll get warned again about ease up but I'm just answering your question. If I don't answer your question, I'll get called out about not answering but now answering I'm sure I'll get ripped to shreds.
As for the design of the 2015 goes ? I honestly cannot say whether I like the car or not until I see it in person as pictures/videos just don't do the car justice..
I can say that if the design of the S550 doesn't blow me away as the outgoing S-197 did back in 2005 ? I will not part with my current 06 GT in order to get one..That you can be certain of..
I'll also address your concern regarding the Ford/corporate front end on the new Mustang and according the design team, the front grill/headlight section was inspired by the 67/68 Shelby GT500 along with the Aston-Martin Vanquish and the Ford Evos concept..
The only reason I can think of with all the comparisons between the fusion and Mustang is Ford used the new front end design on the fusion before the design for the new S550 was locked in..
If the new S550 on the other hand came out before the current Fusion did ? Chances are this topic wouldn't even exist to begin with..
At any rate, thanks for taking the time to address my questions and my concerns as I value both your feedback and your opinions

I've been thinking about using Turtle Wax Ice for my car too, but I also heard from some that I talk with at my local car cruises that it leaves an oily residue and leaves streaks that won't come out especially on dark color cars such as black..
I'd really value your feedback and advice before trying the Turtle Wax Ice on my car

You won't get ripped to shreds by me ! Whether I agree or disagree we all the right to voice our opinions..

Ok my 2 cents here... obviously you all are Mustang fans, until the 2015, I was not at all. At 16 years old, my first car was a 1969 (new) Camaro, over the years I've had Camaro's and Firebirds ending with the last TransAM in 1995. I was not impressed with the new Camaro, feels too much as if driving in a tub - much too large for a 'Pony car'. I also did not like the spartan interior, features, and quite frankly the handling. I have an Aston Martin Vantage and as that benchmark, most cars I drive seem insignificant (including the new Vette). As a GM devotee for years, in the recession I had to downsize to a Ford Focus (Ford was the only place I could get credit), and I was amazed just how nice the Ford product was. It even had self parking which I thought was a joke till I started using it. The lease was up two years ago. When I saw the new Mustang at a car show I thought that it was the nicest looking yet, and the features combined with how nice the Ford Focus handled and was put together swayed me to order one as my daily driver (the Aston hibernates in the winter). Got all the options but went with the EcoBoost instead of the GT because I did not want a car more powerful than the Aston!
I think if the new Mustang has the build quality and handling of the Focus which was a real pleasure to drive and solid as anything, I wont be the only GM devotee moving away from their performance offering. In the real world daily driving it's the handling that impresses more than burn-outs - something that will create very large sales numbers like the Focus. Do I love all the design elements - not really - no car is like that, even the Aston. If the car is 80% as good as the hype, GM and Chrysler will need some major retooling to catch up. Actually I did have a Mustang for 2 hours - I was 18, and it was a 429 Red fastback - loaded in 1971 brand new boy was I excited! Drove it home and the dealer said my credit did not go through - drove it right back.

I have a friend who works for Ford Corporate and just finished taking some hot laps in Las Vegas with the new Mustang. He said it was incredible and everyone there was amazed by this car and it performance- going so far as to say that the ECOBOOST was the favorite and many said the best Mustang ever made!!
