Fun how opinions vary so much, that is my favorite aesthetic about the car, don't get my wrong I love the 2012-2014 head lights also but it's something about the gills on the current car that just look mean!

Use caution and tread lightly my fellow stang banger. Talking something you dislike or hate about the 2015 god mustang will anger and cause much butt hurt with the other demi gods. You are supposed to love and agree with everything Ford does and just follow the other mustang source flock of geese.

Come on guys, this whole "hater" thing is silly. You either like the new Mustang or you don't. I liked it but when I saw it in person I fell in love, but that doesn't mean everyone must like this car. It's not for everyone, but it IS a Mustang so we all need to live with it. It will clearly be the best ever made in terms of performance, power and handling. If you're not in love with the looks that's okay. I'm sure they will do a freshening in a couple of years and take some criticisms into account. For now all I can say is the next 50 years of Mustang are assured!!

I don't think the complaining is about people not liking the redesign but the fact those that don't like it keep coming here at the S550 specific forum to post sarcastic and/or backhanded compliments and trying make people that like the new Mustang feel stupid for their decision. Personally I just ignore but it gets tiring when one of the usual suspect pollutes every thread here with the same comments over and over again. Clearly is not done with good intensions.

I don't like any of the Mustangs before 2010 (except the originally of course) so I don't waste my time at any of those forums. I wouldn't have anything positive to say so why would I want to pollute threads with my negative comments, why troll. I don't get it. Reminds me of people that don't like a particular radio show yet they waste their time calling or posting their displeasure in Facebook.

You've precisely summed up what is the problem with expressing displeasure. It's not the contrary opinion. It's the way it's delivered over and over and over and over and over...as well as the manner it is delivered.

People can deliver their love over and over about the 2015 so nothing wrong with expressing differently over and over. No one is saying anyone is foolish for liking it. No one is criticizing anyone for them liking it. No one is being disrespectful to others about them liking it. People can participate in various threads and enjoy reading various year topics. Always good to learn new things and get other peoples views. I haven't seen any back handed comments.

Let's take these comments for example -

"No need for butt hurt about it. I have some cream if you need for that hurt."
"You are supposed to love and agree with everything Ford does and just follow the other mustang source flock of geese."

Without knowing you personally, I could interpret both of these as sarcastic. You might not mean it that way, but because I can't see you or your facial expressions, I have nothing to go on but your words. If someone is interpreting the statements or their repetition as bashing, then that's something to consider as feedback. As you well know, bashing is disrespectful.

If I make comments about how little I like the 3.7L V6 as a Mustang engine over and over, there is potential you might interpret my comments as disrespectful. By the way, I don't - I think it's a great engine. You might also just overlook it, or respond in kind, or just laugh. However, if you said it seemed like disrespect, then I would consider that in future ways I post.

While we could debate about what is disrespectful and what is not, my experience is that if I get feedback from someone that what I posted caused a negative reaction, then I take that to heart.

To the OP - after having seen this car multiple times in person, each time dispelled any doubts I had after seeing the original photos back in December. There's a lot of surfacing that's hard to capture in pictures.

Here was my original post:

Have to totally agree bro. Couldn't of said it any better. For the people who love the 2015's, go buy it peeps. For people like me and others that don't care for it, we won't buy it. Its that easy. All I heard people say for the past months, is you have to see it in person. I first saw it in person at the Philadelphia auto show and looked worse in person than the pictures.

I just saw it a second time in person at the 2014 AM show and it looked worse this time than the first time I saw it. That rear end is just hideous. The fusion front is one thing, I can deal with that but that rear end it freaking horrible.

I don't care how good the 2015 mustang performs or its power, its not my kind of mustang attractiveness.

No mention about butt hurt, cream or flock of geece. That came afterwards after members were less than pleased with this post and made comments about this post.

So true. I've seen it in person. To me, it's more fizzle than shizzle. It seems that my current Boss is where my long line of Mustang ownership ends. I've already started looking at Jag, Beemer and P-car roadsters. The next MX-5 looks like it might be a seriously fun contender, too.

2011 Kona Blue, let me put it like this. I also have a Kona Blue Mustang. I love that color. Some people on TMS have commented that they don't like it because it's too purple. No problem, we all have different likes and dislikes. But if you saw the same member posting over and over and over again mocking "Kona Purple" the way some people keep saying "Fustang", wouldn't you get tired of it?

Cdynaco absolutely loves remarking on how the 2010-2012 rear end looks like a full diaper. He's a very smart guy and I value his opinion on a number of subjects. So the first dozen or so times I read his full diaper comment I didn't care. But he must have said it 50 times or more. At some point it goes beyond ribbing your buddies and becomes obnoxious.

The part of the car I really dislike the most is its rear end design and the tail lights. After the 2013 and 14 models getting those beautiful smoked LED tail lights and then stepping backwards really is odd. The a$$ end and its lines and the slope of it just is not my cup of tea.

I could certainly get used to the corporate front fasica that Ford chose as it was pointed out, its not the first time Ford has done this. I certainly thought they would of gone in a different direction by making the next generation stang, stand out in a crowd. Cosmetically speaking, in my iwn opinion the 2015 stang looks like your average euro design along with the corporate front fasica. It doesn't stand out in a crowd of cars and drawl attention the way it should.

At the AM show I was around a crowd of people looking at the 2015,and nobody was falling over it. In fact , complete opposite. People were looking at it and you could see the facial expressions and it was like. Really, this was all the huh bub about. You could hear the conversations among people and it wasn't about mad love for it.

Again, for the people who love it that's awesome. Go out and get your new stang and enjoy. I'm sure tweeks will be made in future models based on Ford evaluation of its mustang sales and the actual feedback.

I laugh every time the full diaper comment is made and never ever ever have I got upset, bent or even cared as to how many times he has said it. I always laugh and have a good chuckle at the comment.

Some people feel the 2015 mustang has a very corporate front fasica that is used on the Fusion, Taurus, Focus, etc. Its no big deal. Why do people here get upset about that? You guys act like people are personally attacking your wife, kids, family. Remember, this is the internet and everybody has a voice and opinion. Even if its wrong or stupid, its a forum to discuss things. Not just for people to all agree and see eye too eye on things.

If dude doesn't like the diaper rear end of the 2010-14, great and don't buy one. No hard feelings. Say you don't like it and I couldn't give a crap one way. Same with the 2015, for those who don't like it, state why and in end, DON'T BUY ONE. If enough people feel like me about the 2015 stang, The refresh will happen sooner than later. If not, no big deal and just keep my S197. All good.

We shall see very soon how well this new design goes over with not only enthusiasts but regular consumers. Now that release of them to the public is within a month or so, Ford should be getting record mustang sales in the upcoming months and year. I would think and since this new stang is so awesome that mustang sales in the U.S. should be record high since 2005 and even prior.

2015 Mustang sales in America should easily kill Camaro's 2010 units sold when they first made its re-entrance. Since America has been waiting for this new generation stang for 5 plus years and its finnaly here. Ford dealerships should be blowing up pre-orders and sales should be through the roof. We shall see soon enough. No excuse why sales in the US would not reflect top mustang sales.

I have a diaperStang and thought that comment was funny.

I also love the 2015 and will be ordering one this week. I just need to decide if I can love with the EcoBoost or if I need the GT.

Sweet bro. Congrats on the new order and go with the Gt bro. Lol I'm expecting these bad boys to fly off in sales because of the heavy anticipation of the past 5 years.
