Mazda does it well for the Miata too. In fact the retractable hard top Miata has the exact same trunk space as the manual soft top.
But there is a lot more top when you have a back seat. That's where you end up getting the huge trunk.

My preference is the MB Panoramic Glass Roof.

This is a great feature and is superior to the Mustang glass roof.

The rear tips-up, the whole thing slides back, the front and rear seats both have glass sunroofs and they both have powered sun shades.

I would LOVE a retractable hardtop stang. But I've given up hope that it's possible to do it while meeting the following conditions:

A) It's affordable
B) It still looks good with the top up
C) Doesn't mess us the dynamics of the car (low weight)


So I'll stick with the glass roof option. Perfect compromise IMO
