Post up them 15 Verts
So I currently own a 14 GT but lately I ve been obsessing over a 15 vert. Preferably a GT Premium in Magnetic with 20" Foundary Wheels, and Redline Interior

Very nice rag top. I'm biased of course. Certain colors seem to work much better on 'verts than other finishes IMO. Magnetic is one of those colors
Btw, how did you get your Pony puddle lights to project an silhouette of a man holding a camera?

Golfertp: She is a beauty!
TripleBlack14: I agree with you on certain colors work for mustang verts and some just don't.
I have never considered a convertible before, but ever since a buddy of mine left his c6 vette convertible in my garage while he was away for few months at work; I really enjoyed the feeling of driving around in a sports car with the top down.

Once you go convertible, you don't go back I bought my first sunroof car in 1990, a 1990 Ford Probe GT. I really loved that car. Fast for it's time and lots of neat features. That led to my first convertible in 1997, a 1966 Corvair Corsa convertible (sold the Probe in 1998). That served as my DD until 2005, when I bought a 1999 Miata. I sold my 1966 Corvair (quite rusty) in 2012 after I bought my restored '65 convertible. Sold the Miata in 2012 and bought my '13 GT convertible. In addition to the Corvair and Mustang convertibles in my garage, my wife also now has a low mile 2003 Miata limited edition. All three 'verts are blue, but not the same shade.

Amen brother. I bought a '98 Jaguar XK8 convertible just after I retired at the end of '99. She carried a license plate frame that read If this car were a woman it would be Sophia Loren. Then came a '91 Morgan in 2001, a 2007 Honda S2000 in 2009 and my 2014 Mustang in 2013. She's a similar color combination to the XK8 and is drop dead gorgeous. There may come a day when I no longer HAVE TO HAVE a convertible, but I don't expect it any time soon.

When I got my 'vert last year, I was exploring various Mustang forums and came across a thread about rag tops. Several people ranted about a convertible Mustang not being a real Mustang because it wasn't suited for performance driving. Others suggested that a 'vert was a "girls Mustang". One poster was particularly nasty in his anti-drop top rant, even saying he wouldn't park his hot rod coupe next to one at a show.
I never did become a member on that one.

Awesome stories and even better list of cars.
Yea I had never considered a convertible before, but just like you all have mentioned; its getting that first taste of riding or driving in one with the top down and the wind in ur face that gets u hooked.
I know right now its a matter of timing and a great opportunity to get myself in one. I really do still enjoy my GHIG GT manual so I got time to wait patiently.

I have to agree, nothing like a drop top. My wife wasn't too keen at first but now she is loving it. Ruby Red GT with Red Line interior and the Roush axle backs. These seem to be perfect for the convertible.
The cooled seats add that extra bit of cool for the warmer days, just wish the seat back had more airflow like the bottom.

I'm not a big enough fan of convertibles in general to buy one over a coupe, but man I wish I could afford to have one of each. I haven't driven a convertible in a long time, but there isn't much like it for a laid back cruise on the right day.
