Ah, one can always dream

A friends dad back in High School had a 1971 Ranchero (complete with the fake wood grain on the side) with a 428 CJ in it and it was one of the fastest car in town...we would take it out to the country and spank so called muscle cars. That was one sweeeet engine.

I'm pretty sure the 5.4 is dead in the water. After the new GT500 engine, it'll be phased out and replaced by the 5.0 and the 6.2.

I'm sure as well, especially since its relatively easy to bump power on the 5.4 with little cost, although it would have been nice to see one more iteration before they lay the 5.4 out to pasture.

No such thing as not needing more power.
