What if !!!!
This is someting that i haven't really heard or read about, and it concerns me a bit.
Gas prices are ...say acceptable for now , but what if they ever come up to say $4 a gallon or for us Canucks $1,50/liter or even more for that matter. How would this affect the way you drive the car, your hobby, your everyday commute car. Worst case scenario, would you consider selling the car, even though nobody would want to but it. Just a taught, that will eventually happen sooner than we think.

I often go for drives with a buddy after we put our respective kids to bed and leave the wives at home to ensure they're fine.
It might affect how often I do that, but I don't think it would have that much of an impact.
I normally carpool to work with my wife so we spend less on gas than other families that drive 2 cars to work. So I can indulge when I have free time. I'm not exactly sure what I spend on gas these days, but I'll guess around $300 a month. If the cost of gas increased 50% then I'm paying $450, that's not enough to change my behaviour significantly. But I think it might change it a little.

Fuel here in the UK is currently £5/gallon, so say somewhere between $8-9/gallon depending on the exchange rate.
It seems usage in the UK is split 50/50 between Mustangs being used as daily drivers (usually people with a small commute to work) or, like mine, just used as a toy for sunny weekends. I have a 10 year old 5 series BMW for the daily 100 mile commute to work and back.
Whilst I do get frustrated at not being able to drive the Mustang as often as I'd like, it does mean that every journey is done for pleasure. Usually meeting up with other owners for a cruise or a show

I found this Mustang web site searching information for the all new 2014 Mustang. I figured my 07 Dodge will be ready to trade by then. I have had 4 new Mustangs in my past. I have heard the 2014 Mustangs 'might' have the new 4 and 6 cylinder eco boost engines. I also heard the 2014 Mustangs were going to be a few hundred pounds lighter in weight.
Then while here i find out the 2011 Mustangs are getting up-graded engines and transmissions, with more power and better gas mileage. I love the 2010 body but not the engines. Since i only have one car at a time, what ever i choose will be my DD. I'm going to order a 2011 V-6 automatic with a 3.31 rear gear. I think i'll be more than happy with this choice. It won't be too bad on me if gas prices go up, which they will. I know with the 3.31 gear it won't get the 30 mpg, i figure around 28 or 29 on the highway. That's fine with me because the 4 cylinder Dodge i now have only gets around 28 mpg on the highway with only 158 horsepower lol!!!. I can live with a 305 horsepower Mustang that gets around 28 mpg.
