New Product - Steeda S550 Heel/Toe Pedal and Covers Now Available!
Hi everyone,
There have been several requests for not only a heel/toe pedal for the S550, but also pedal covers - we're pleased to let you know both are available!
Steeda's heel/toe racing pedal is constructed from high-grade billet aluminum and is designed to fit the exact curvature of your 2015 Ford Mustang accelerator pedal. This racing pedal cover allows the driver to be able to use the brake and accelerator pedal simultaneously much easier than the standard pedal cover allows. It's also easy to install and can be done with basic tools!
Key Product Benefits:
- When racing, makes it easier to use both the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously
- Securely fit to your factory pedals
- Comes with mounting hardware
- Easy to install with basic tools
- Made in the USA with high-grade materials
We have a few pedal cover kits available as well:
Steeda S550 Mustang Pedal Kit - Manual (2015)
Steeda S550 Mustang Pedal Kit - Automatic (2015)
Steeda S550 Mustang Heel/Toe Pedal Kit - Manual (2015)
And ... they are made right here in the U.S.A
Best Regards,
TJ

I'm not sure if anyone is checking this thread out, but I just came upon these, and want to know more. I was always able to heel/toe my S197 easily, as the brake pedal had more travel, and I could more easily align the brake/gas pedals to roll my foot over and blip the throttle, rather than actually use my heel and toe.
Now, with my 2016 GT with Performance Pack, the Brembo brakes have very little pedal travel, and the gap is just too far to simply roll my foot over. I also have relatively large feet, so angling my foot to actually use my heel and toe is really difficult in the pedal box.
So, the big question is whether or not the additional height of the pedal (relative to the sole of your shoe, not relative to the length of your foot) gives enough height so that you can actually roll your foot in a PP car? If not, does Steeda recommend or have plans to offer a spacer/stand-off addition, that would allow you to create an additional bit of spacing between the original pedal and the pedal cover?

You called ...
Heel toe is much easier with the race pedal covers - at this time, we have no plans to raise the pedal.
Drive it for a couple weeks and it will most likely begin to feel normal.
Hope that helps!

Like I said in my post, the issue isn't the size or shape of the gas pedal, but relative position to the brake when the Brembos are clamped. Would it be safe to use a metal spacer with longer bolts, to reposition the relative height of the pedal?
