Should come in handy when leaving Cars and Coffee events.

Great for leaving meets...

I think it's terrible, another feature to "dumb " the masses down. I hold it right up there with park assist.
... just my 2 cents....

What a disappointment. I thought it was a tracking device for hunting down pedestrians.

My '13 already detects pedestrians. They do sound a lot like a speed bump though when you run over them.

Your exhaust isn't loud enough if you can hear them. You'll need to work on that.

I'm guessing that will cause the points system to be recalculated. I mean, if you hit one with that system on the car you can't expect to get the usual 500 points.

I'm with ya. What's it geared to?? People who text and drive and don't watch where they are going??

This is to prevent our already high insurance rates from going even higher - due to the abundance of walking Zombie text reading pedestrians.
Plus - who wants to have to clean up that mess off your bumper...

So the big reason this is catching up with Mustang now is because Mustang is now sold in Europe, AND because European NCAP regulations will soon require it.

On the tight, crowded city streets in European cities pedestrian casualties are high compared to US. And many automakers will follow.
