The list for the brides '18 GT Vert. Thoughts?
After sitting with the bride, and going over the options, here's her final wish list for her '18 GT Vert.
Ruby Red with Ceramic or Tan interior. Still undecided on the interior
10 speed auto
Spoiler Delete
20" wheels
Safe, and Smart package
Premium stereo with HD radio
Navigation
I damned near passed out when I saw the MSRP of $51,965 for a cotton pickin' Mustang, but figured what the heck "You can't take it with you". And after putting up with me for over 40 years she surely deserves anything she wants.
Looking to order sometime in March after a exhaustive search for the best OTD price.

Sounds good.
When negotiating the price, it sometimes helps to remind the sales manager that their Ford store is one of several thousand in the US, as the chances are that a different one WILL work with you on what is basically a car nobody NEEDS, but WANTS.

I sure will Gabe. I have several dealers in my area, and one in South Carolina I'm looking at. A plus for the one in SC is that they don't charge any of those BS fees.
Sounds like a real nice car, and yeah are you sure she doesn't want a Benz or BMW for $52K? LOL
And it amazes me that dealers think they can get away with tacking on an extra $500 in "paperwork fees" at the last minute, as if that isn't part of the "price" of the car.

That was offered Bert, but she said she's not old enough for one of those yet.

OK kiddies, I put the brides car up for bids at 6 different Ford dealers in the area. Surprisingly the dealer with the best price was my local dealer that I have been dealing with for over 30 years. Their price along with the $1500 rebate, and $1000 trade assistance, and my $500 Farm Bureau rebate gives me a price that is just shy of 7K off MSRP that I am quite happy with. We will be ordering the car on the 14th of Feb. when we return home.
